Um povo que não conhece a sua história está fadado a repeti-la", já diria Edmund Burke. Essa célebre frase, dita pelo filósofo, não fala apenas sobre memórias coletivas. Mais a fundo, ela diz muito sobre a importância de olhar para si e para o mundo, de respeitar as diferenças, a diversidade cultural e a liberdade religiosa. É isso o que buscamos no projeto "Conhecer para ser e respeitar", iniciativa direcionada aos(às) alunos(as) do 7º ano do Colégio Apoio. Em visita à Sinagoga Kahal Zur Israel, (Recife Antigo), à Capela Dourada (bairro de Santo Antônio) e ao Terreiro Xambá (bairro de São Benedito- Olinda), foi possível dar um mergulho profundo pela história do nosso povo, conhecer as riquezas da identidade nacional e fortalecer a cultura brasileira e pernambucana.
Uma vivência para superar preconceitos, transformar mentes e construir pontes, entre vidas e histórias.
